Scene Reading Performance Tips

There is not necessarily an incorrect way of reading. Something I do to avoid distractions is listen to the audio book (if it's available) and read the book at the same time. This helps me focus only on the story. It's always okay to take your time with reading.

Start with some novellas, maybe even some younger books as well to train your brain and imagination. Join a book club or get a friend to read the same book where you can have discussions about it. Start small a few pages at a time. Re-read them if need be.
